Like if a Muppet was a Theatre Artist...
is what I have been described as in my personal and professional life. I prioritize laughter, joy, never taking myself to seriously, and plenty other muppety things. I try to carry my core beliefs with me in my work as a stage manager, actor, teacher, director, etc, etc. Below I have detailed out some of them, as I feel they help you know who I am.
When not at work, I am exploring nature however I am able (and taking all the nature pictures you see here), playing card games, watching bad television or movies, or trying to experience joy everyday.

Whether in an educational environment, or a professional one, challenges are bound to make an appearance. When mistakes are made, I find it is almost always more helpful to approach from a lense or teaching or learning.
Accessibility
I am a disabled artist, meaning that accessibility hits straight home for me. If art is not accessible, how can we, as a theatre community, showcase true, meaningful, relevant stories?
The people creating and maintaining the art will always have priority to me. By focusing on people first, we allow ourselves to open up to a world that may be unknown to us.

Long Term Growth > Short Term Results
Community
Letting an attitude of love be my guiding force, has never steered me wrong. Loving people as much as possible allows my art to be a connecting force in leading others.
The quote, "I have not felt like myself, I must be growing." constantly comes up in my work. I believe growing is the most important thing we do as artists. If not, our art becomes stale, and an imitation of what we think life is, not what it truly is.
Personally I believe we must support each other, believe in others, believe that a win for one is a win for all, and serving every person here in our lives, and on Earth will benefit all.
